The proprietor may refuse his services to prospective clients for any reason not prohibited by law, or for no stated reason, given that he renders his services at will. Website commissions will not be taken by the proprietor from businesses or individuals who intend to use the proprietor's services, without limitation, to sell or facilitate the distribution of medicinal and/or recreational drugs, regardless of whether these substances have or have not been legalized for commercial sale and/or been destigmatized as harmful consumables; to sell or facilitate the distribution of pornographic materials; to sell or facilitate the distribution of goods subject to regulation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; and, as the last of these examples, to facilitate the operation of any equipment which could endanger the health or life of any person, either by its intended operation or failure to operate as intended, such as medicinal hardware or software; control systems related to nuclear energy; and control systems related to military resources.

In the event that the proprietor has already accepted a commission and been engaged to work by a client when, for whatever reason, the proprietor is no longer comfortable working with that client, and, as examples without limitation, the proprietor has unexpectedly been asked to modify an existing website design project for a purpose excluded in the above restrictions (or which would represent any other purpose which the proprietor does not deem a favorable business proposition); the proprietor's client has addressed the proprietor with language that the proprietor finds abusive and/or which threatens the proprietor’s safety and well-being; or circumstances do not permit continued contact with a client, as when clients are called to active military service, emigrate, or are incarcerated, the following business practice will apply.

The proprietor will retain the non-refundable project initialization fee but will issue correspondence to the client indicating the cancellation of their website development project by copy of that correspondence, and that the proprietor will not assess the project completion fee for their project, as the proprietor will not complete their project. After issuing the correspondence to that effect via email, the proprietor will permanently delete all files, webpages, and the totality of code and materials for the cancelled website development project. While further business relations with any clients whose website development projects are cancelled is not anticipated by the proprietor, no clients will be banned from the proprietor's clientele, and if any client should commission a new website development project after one or more of that client's existing project(s) is cancelled, the proprietor will be happy to begin another such project with that client, provided that the new project does not facially contravene the above restrictions, and provided that the proprietor does not perceive the client as someone who intends to inflict emotional or physical harm upon the proprietor.

To the degree possible, all the above provisions will also apply to all collections management projects and all systems analysis projects undertaken by the proprietor of Teladominus Website Designs.
